The Election Commission replied to Kachin State Progressive Party (KSPP), Northern Shan State Progressive Party-Kachin (NSPP) and Collective Democracy Party-Kachin, which had submitted their registration to contest in the elections, to wait for their permission to contest the elections. The main reason for the delay for these three Kachin political parties was that Kachin Independence Organization (KIO) had been refusing SPDC’s demand to transform into a Border Guard Force. ျမန္မာစစ္အစိုးရရဲ႕ ျပည္ေထာင္စုေရြးေကာက္ပြဲေကာ္မရွင္႐ုံး သို႔ ပါတီမွတ္ပံုတင္ေလွ်ာက္ထားတဲ့ ကခ်င္ပါတီ ၃ ဖြဲ႔ အား တရား၀င္လက္ခံေရးကိစၥ ဆက္လက္ေစာင့္ဆိုင္း ေပးရန္ ေကာ္မရွင္က ျပန္ၾကားထားေၾကာင္း သိရတယ္။ ကခ်င္ႏိုင္ငံေရးပါတီ ၃ ခုျဖစ္တဲ့ ကခ်င္ျပည္နယ္တိုးတက္ေရးပါတီ (KSPP)၊ ရွမ္းျပည္ေျမာက္ပိုင္းတိုးတက္ေရးပါတီ-ကခ်င္(NSPP) ႏွင့္ စုေပါင္းဒီမိုကေရစီပါတီ-ကခ်င္ တို႔ဟာ တရား၀င္ပါတီမ်ားအျဖစ္ လက္ခံျခင္း မခံရေသးပါ။ အခုလို ကခ်င္ပါတီေပၚ တရား၀င္ပါတီအျဖစ္ လက္ခံ၊ လက္မခံ ဆုံးျဖတ္ေပးရန္ ၾကန္႔ၾကာထားတဲ့ အဓိကအေၾကာင္းရင္းကေတာ့ စစ္အစိုးရနဲ႔ အပစ္ခပ္ရပ္စဲထားတဲ့ ကခ်င္လြတ္ေျမာက္ေရးအဖြဲ႔ (KIO) က စစ္အစိုးရ အလြန္မွျဖစ္ေစခ်င္တဲ့ နယ္ျခားေစာင့္တပ္ဖြဲ႔ (Border Guard Force) သို႔ အသြင္ေျပာင္းလဲေရး ကိစၥကို ျငင္းေနတဲ့အတြက္ျဖစ္တယ္လို႔ KSPP ႏွင့္နီးစပ္သူတဦးက ေျပာတယ္။ (KNG 110510)
